Rockhampton Airport Sunday Visitor and New Control Tower Receives a Coat Paint and is Looking Good

Ben O popped into Rockhampton Airport on Sunday 29 May and spotted Airservices Australia Beech B200 King Air VH-FII. It is pictured parked on the Airport Apron.

This aircraft usually operates flight inspection duties (calibration of precision navaids such as ILS) by Pearl Aviation for AeroPearl, on contract to Airservices Australia, and usually uses the distinctive callsign 'Auscal 1'.

Also photographed was Rockhampton Airport's new control tower, which Ben points out has received a fresh coat of paint.

It is starting to look good for opening shortly.
