QantasLink To Fly Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100s to Emerald Airport

It was announced last week that QantasLink will introduce Fokker F-100 jet services between Brisbane and Emerald from Monday 4 June.

These new jet services will support Dash-8-Q400 services on the route whilst also providing cascaded growth across several other key regional Queensland markets.

The introduction of the larger F-100 jets will allow customers greater access to more seats at peak times.  Alongside the introduction of the new 19 F-100 jet services, QantasLink will also add four extra flights between Brisbane and Emerald taking the total number of return services on the route to 45 per week

Alliance Airlines also currently operates services on behalf of QantasLink to Rockhampton and Mackay Airports.

The move to jet services into Emerald is no surprise with security screening recently installed in the Emerald Airport terminal. Additionally, Alliance Airlines has been operating closed fly in fly out charters to Emerald airport for some time now.
