Brenzil Dassault Falcon 2000EX Bizjet VH-CRW Night Training at Gladstone Airport

Brenzil Pty Ltd Dassault Falcon 2000EX VH-CRW flew into Gladstone Airport late on Wednesday 20 June, touching down at about 6.30pm from Brisbane.

The Falcon arrived shortly before Virgin Australia's evening ATR 72-500 service from Brisbane, which was operated by VH-FVU.

Both were photographed on the Gladstone Airport apron by Jamie C.

Jamie reports that VH-CRW then departed Gladstone Airport, but then much to his surprise, came back and operated three touch-and-go landings on the main runway!  It then departed back to Brisbane.

Earlier on Wednesday 20 June, we ventured to Gladstone Airport and stuck our heads into one of the hangars at the Airport and caught up with Amateur built Rutan Long-Ez VH-LEX.  The Long-Ez was undergoing a 100-hour service.

We also discovered that VH-LEX is powered by a 118hp 4-cylinder Lycoming engine, which can propel the aircraft to an average cruise speed of 150 knots, with an endurance (including reserves) of approximately 9-10 hours.

Outside the hangar, we noted local Cessna 210 VH-TET - the aircraft we recently took a flight on from Gladstone to Great Keppel Island - stay tuned to the Blog for this trip report!!
