Gladstone Airport Plane Spotting on Sunday

We ventured to Gladstone Airport on Sunday 5 August to attend the weekly Gladstone Aero Club gathering.

One of the usual visitors was there again - Jabiru J-160 19-5099 - which was visiting from Rockhampton.

Another Jabiru - this time a J-55 - registered 55-1981 - was also noted visiting Gladstone Airport.

On the commercial front, QantasLink Dash-8-Q300's VH-SCE and VH-TQE were noted while they passed through Gladstone Airport on Sunday 5 August, while they traveled up and down the Queensland coast.

New South Wales-based Bell 206 / AMT Helicopters AMT OH-58A VH-BJX was also noted visiting from parts unknown.

Lastly, an early morning notable movement to Gladstone Airport early on Sunday 5 August was Bontrail of Toowoomba Cessna 208 Caravan VH-SJJ, which arrived from and departed back to Toowoomba.
