Singapore Prime Minister Touches Down at Rockhampton Airport to Visit Troops at Exercise Wallaby 2012

Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long touched down at Rockhampton Airport on Wedneday 10 October to pay a visit to visiting troops participating in the Singapore Armed Forces Exercise Wallaby 2012.

Mr Lee arrived at Rockhampton Airport late morning aboard a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-BBJ jet.  He was greeted by Rockhampton Regional Council Mayor Margaret Strelow.

It was a quick visit to Rockhampton, with Mr Lee departing during the afternoon.  While he is in Australia, he will also attend meetings in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.
