A Pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster Aircraft Pass Through Rockhampton Airport Thursday

Rockhampton plane spotters have reported that two different Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III transport aircraft performed airwork at Rockhampton Airport on Thursday 4 April.  It appears as though both aircraft performed missed approaches at Rockhampton Airport.

It is believed that A41-207 ("Stallion 27") flew into Rockhampton Airport in the morning, while A41-208 ("Stallion 24") flew in during the afternoon.

There was also a report that an Australian Army Sikorsky S70A-9 Blackhawk helicopter popped into Rockhampton Airport as well as on Thursday 4 April

Unfortunately, no photos of today's action, but certainly a very positive sign of things to come!!
