Royal Australian Navy (RAN) AS350B Squirrel Helicopters at Rockhampton and Bundaberg Airports

Following on from our post below, three Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Aerospatiale AS350B Squirrel helicopters have been noted passing through Central Queensland also heading South, again possibly after the completion of exercises in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).

The three squirrels were noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport late on Wednesday 5 June, and then spotted by local plane spotter Don W parked on the Northern end of the apron, in a very difficult place for photos, early on Thursday 6 June.

The trio were then reportedly spotted at Bundaberg Airport later on Thursday 6 June, presumably again parked for the night.
