Tigerair (Tiger Airways) Airbus A320 VH-VNQ in New Titles Makes First Visit to Mackay Airport Sunday

After being unveiled in early July, the recently repainted (and rebranded) Tigerair (Tiger Airways) Airbus A320 VH-VNQ has finally operated a scheduled service into Mackay Airport on Sunday 11 August.

VH-VNQ operated the scheduled TGW382/383.

Also noted arriving into Mackay later on Sunday 11 August was Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-002 which arrived from Rockhampton, Canberra and Melbourne as "Envoy 31".

It's also worth mentioning that Jetstar's special coloured Airbus A320 VH-VFN has also been operating into Mackay over recent days.  The A320 was the first Australian-based A320 to feature blended winglets known as 'Sharklets'.  VH-VFN also wears special 100th aircraft / 100 millionth passenger in the Jetstar Group fleet.
