Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron N581SR (ex-VH-OMS) Calls into Emerald Airport This Week

An interesting visitor into Emerald Airport on Tuesday 3 September - and again on Wednesday 4 September - was Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron N581SR.  The Baron arrived into Emerald from Roma and has later departed to both Roma and Toowoomba, where it seems to be based.

A registration search reveals that N581SR could be ex-VH-OMS - it has the same serial number of TH-2347.  This Baron performed a successful nose-gear up landing at Toowoomba Airport in early April this year.

The aircraft sustained substantial damage and the two passengers on board were not injured.
