Meanwhile, Arriving into Bundaberg Airport on Thursday - Qld Gvt Hawker 850XP VH-SGY and RAAF Challenger 604 A37-002

Local plane spotter Micah S ventured to Bundaberg Airport on Thursday 5 September and captured a great image of the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY as it sat in the Airport apron after bringing Queensland Premier Campbell Newman to town.

This was in fact VH-SGY's second visit in as many days with the little bizjet touching down in the Rum city on Wednesday 4 September from Moranbah, before departing to Brisbane and making a return flight to Cairns.

Also shown above in Micah's photo was Byron Bay-based Beech F33A Bonanza VH-KGL.  It was noted arriving into Bundy early from Tyagarah in Northern New South Wales, and departed back there later in the day.

Meanwhile, later in the afternoon, Micah noted the arrival into Bundaberg Airport of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-002.

A37-002 has been spotted in most Central Queensland coastal cities this week - certainly Rockhampton and Gladstone - as it has made its way South and seemingly participating in the Federal Election campaign.
