Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-16C/D Fighting Falcons Flying During Exercise Wallaby 2013 at Rockhampton Airport

Over the course of his lunch break, local plane spotter Don W captured some fantastic photos at Rockhampton Airport on Wednesday 9 October, as the six Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin) F-16C/D Block 52 Version Fighting Falcon jets flew sorties out of Rocky to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) as a part of the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby 2013.

As shown above, the six F-16s that departed in groups of two were:  625 & 691, followed by 694 & 639, and lastly 613 & 611.

The F-16s flew sorties of around 2-hours in length, seeing them land again at Rockhampton Airport during the middle of the afternoon.

Also captured by Don departing Rockhampton Airport on Wednesday 9 October was RSAF Lockheed C-130H Hercules '735' which has taken up residence at Rockhampton, and often departs on sorties using the radio callsign "Condor".

Spectacular photos captured by Don - and he was very chuffed to capture all this action during his lunch break!  Good one!  Thanks Don!
