A Great Pair of Helicopters at Gladstone Airport - Bell 412 VH-PXY & EC120B VH-JSM

A nice pair of helicopters were captured by local plane spotter Michael F at Gladstone Airport on Sunday 18 May.

Arriving early from Redcliffe was Australian Helicopters new Bell 412EP VH-PXY.

VH-PXY was only registered in April, was previously registered in Canada and Spain.

After taking on fuel, VH-PXY departed Gladstone to Emerald and then further to Longreach.  It was presumably on delivery to a med-evac operator as the big Bell was noted using the radio callsign of "Rescue 920".

Later on Sunday 18 May, Gold Coast Leisure Services Eurocopter EC120B VH-JSM was then photographed by Michael visiting Gladstone.

The sleek looking Colibri departed towards to South.

Michael also captured some great images of Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) ATR 72-500 VH-FVM after it had arrived from Brisbane as VOZ1713.

Sunshine Coast-based Piper PA-24-260 VH-PKZ was also captured as it arrived from Caloundra.

Some great images from Michael from Gladstone Airport on Sunday, and we thank him sincerely for taking the time to capture them and send them through!  Much appreciated mate!
