A Few Interesting Aircraft and Bizjet Call into Hamilton Island Airport Over the Last Few Days

It's been a few days since we've prepared a post about Hamilton Island Airport but that's not to say there haven't been any interesting movements to call into the Whitsundays.

Most recently on Tuesday 3 March, Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-VPL called into Hamo from its Gold Coast base via Brisbane.

Also staying at Hamilton Island Airport after arriving from Melbourne (Essendon) on Sunday 1 March was Shortstop Jet Charter British Aerospace BAe-125-1000B bizjet VH-LMP.  Also on Sunday, Business Aviation Solutions Dassault Mystere Falcon 20-F5 VH-FAI visited for a few hours from Sydney.

On the lighter side of the visitors to Hamo in recent days, West Wing Avaition Cessna 208 Caravan VH-UZY called in on Saturday 28 February from Townsville.  After staying for the night, it returned to Townsville on Sunday 1 March.  The previous weekend, Cessna 172s VH-PVN and VH-ADX were also noted calling into Hamo for the weekend from Towsville.

Finally, back on Monday 23 February, McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Beech B200 King Airs VH-WJK and VH-MWZ called into Hamo briefly.
