Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) (Skywest Airlines) Fokker 50 VH-FNE at Roma Airport

On Monday 16 March, Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) Fokker 50 VH-FNE was noted calling into Roma Airport from Brisbane.

The little Fokker - which is still wearing the colours of Skywest Airlines - relocated to Brisbane from its former base in Perth earlier in the year and is expected to enter service with VARA either on scheduled services or Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights, hopefully into the CQ region.

It is also expected that another Fokker 50 will relocate to Brisbane soon.

It is unclear when VH-FNE will officially enter service or start FIFO flights from Brisbane.

Certainly a nice aircraft to look out for!
