AirServices Australia / Aero Pearl Hawker Beechcraft B300 Super King Air VH-FIZ Back at Gladstone Airport

AirServices Australia / Aero Pearl-operated Hawker Beechcraft B300 Super King Air VH-FIZ was back at Gladstone Airport over the weekend.  It touched down from Brisbane on Friday 10 April and departed on a sortie Northbound on Saturday 11 April.

After some initial airwork around the Gladstone area, VH-FIZ then operated around Mackay Airport for some time before eventually landing at Townsville Airport.  Again, VH-FIZ was using the flight number ADA4 and the radio callsign of "Auscal 4".

Meanwhile on Thursday 9 April, a couple of other lighties were noted passing through Gladstone Airport with New South Wales-based Cessna 210 VH-KTE arriving directly from the Illawarra Regional Airport at Wollongong before later departing to Emerald and then Mackay, while the Redcliffe Aero Club Cessna 310 VH-JTV was spotted after calling in from Bundaberg.

Finally, last Sunday 5 April, Cirrus SR22 VH-FJD called in briefly from Kingaroy.

A couple of great photos from local plane spotters Jamie and Tash - thanks guys!
