Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) (Skywest Airlines) Fokker 50 VH-FNE at Roma and Emerald Airports

After making a one-off visit to Roma in mid-March, Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) Fokker 50 VH-FNE was noted calling into Roma Airport again last Friday 17 April.  It then visited Miles Airport and Emerald Airport on Tuesday 21 April, staying for the night at Emerald.

On each occasion, the little Fokker - which is still wearing the colours of Skywest Airlines - arrived from and returned to Brisbane where it relocated to from its former base in Perth earlier in the year.  It is believed that VH-FNE is now service with VARA on Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights.

It is also expected that another Fokker 50 will relocate to Brisbane soon.
