A Few GA Movements at Rockhampton Airport Wednesday - Plus Citation Bizjet VH-TFW

Light Jets Australia Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-TFW was noted calling into Rockhampton Airport from Biloela / Thangool Airport on Wednesday 12 August.  It had arrived at Bilo the previous evening from their new base at Archerfield Airport.

UPDATE!  After staying for all of Wednesday, VH-TFW departed back to Archerfield on Thursday 13 August.

Also on Wednesday 12 August, Wagners Aviation Services / Wagners Development Company Agusta Westland AW119 MK2 helicopter VH-WJY was noted flying in and out of Rockhampton Airport.  Its movements are not entirely known but flight tracking apps suggest that it may return on Thursday 13 August.

Meanwhile, a few General Aviation (GA) movements around Rockhampton Airport on Wednesday 12 August included the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK which called in twice during a busy day of flying, while locally-based Atlass Aviation Vulcanair (Partenavia) P.68C VH-KBO and Beech B58P VH-BLT both returned to Rocky from overnight stays at Roma and Mackay respectively.

Brisbane-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-VTF also made what looked to be an unexpected visit from Biloela / Thangool Airport.

Finally, Redjet Aviation Piper PA-31 Navajo VH-PJU called into Rockhampton from Toowoomba and Archerfield before departing to Hamilton Island.  Also making a visit to Hamilton Island was  J.M. Kelly (Project Builders) Cessna 310 VH-FFA which, as mentioned below, flew from Rocky to Gladstone and North to Hamo before returning to Rocky.
