Gladstone Airport on Monday - Careflight Learjet VH-VVI - Virgin Australia E-190 VH-ZPB

The awesome jet action at Gladstone Airport continued on Monday 14 September with Virgin Australia Embraer E-190 VH-ZPB touching down for the second day in a row operating the late afternoon VOZ1717/1720 service from and back to Brisbane.

Also as the afternoon was turning into night, Careflight Queensland (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjet VH-VVI also touched down at Gladstone operating a med-evac into the port city as "Ambulance 451" from Brisbane.  After some time on the ground at Gladstone, VH-VVI departed back to Brisbane.

About the same time, its worth noting that Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-FDT was also visiting Gladstone from Brisbane.  It too departed back to the capital. It was flying as "FlyDoc 436".

Finally, a pair of Cirrus aircraft called into Gladstone Airport on Monday 14 September from the successful 'Cirrus Life Event' on Hamilton Island.  Cirrus SR20 VH-NOP and Cirrus SR22 VH-PGU both took on fuel and departed to Southport where it appears that they are based.
