Two More Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 Jets at Gladstone Airport Friday - VH-VUW and VH-YFP

I reckon this will be the final 'daily' update of Virgin Australia jet aircraft operating into Gladstone Airport as visits by either Embraer E-190 or Boeing B737-800 jets into the industrial city are now becoming a daily occurrence (as opposed to the one E-190 per week flight on a Saturday).

On Friday 25 September, Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800s VH-VUW and VH-YFP both called into Gladstone Airport operating scheduled services from and back to Brisbane.  VH-VUW operated as VOZ1709/1712 while VH-YFP operated as VOZ1717/1720.

These two services were also complimented by two visits of Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) ATR 72s which have reportedly have serviceability problems in recent days.

Finally, a couple interesting light General Aviation (GA) visitors were noted passing through Gladstone Airport on Friday 25 September with Cirrus SR20 VH-DRK and Cirrus SR22 VH-FJD noted heading North and South respectively.  And Brisbane-based Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-LYN called in for a short time from Archerfield.
