Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-VUS and Embraer E-190 VH-ZPM at Gladstone Airport Thursday

Early on Thursday 24 September I thought that operations around the CQ Airports serviced by Virgin Australia Regional Airlines' (VARA) ATR 72s may have been starting to return to 'normal' with several ATR services into Emerald, Moranbah, Bundaberg and Gladstone all operating as per scheduled.  But during the morning on Thursday 24 September, I noted that Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-VUS operated the VOZ1711/1714 service into Gladstone Airport from and back to Brisbane.

As the afternoon wore on, Virgin Australia Embraer E-190 VH-ZPM then operated into Gladstone as VOZ1717/1720 again from and back to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, another nice visitor to Gladstone Airport on Thursday 24 September was FKG Air Hawker Beechcraft G58 VH-FKI which called in from Toowoomba and Moura.

It later departed back to its Toowoomba base.
