Exercise Wallaby 2015 - Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Lockheed C-130H Hercules '734' Also Called into Rockhampton Airport Friday

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) action at Rockhampton Airport continued on Friday 6 November with Lockheed C-130H Hercules transport aircraft '734' touching down from Darwin as "Singa 9037".

The Hercules has presumably touched down at Rocky to provide support to the impending departure of the six RSAF General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin) F-16D Block 52 Version Fighting Falcon jets to RAAF Base Tindal in the Northern Territory on Monday 9 November.

As these photos show, '734' joined fellow Hercules '735' on the Rockhampton Airport apron.  '735' is also expected to depart to the 'top end' also on Monday.

It appears that on Saturday 7 November, RSAF C-130H Hercules '734' operated a return flight from Rockhampton Airport to Darwin (or Tindal?) and back as "Singa 9037".

Meanwhile, the helicopter action associated with the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby 2015 should continue for at least the next week before the 2 RSAF Boeing CH-47SD Chinook and 5 RSAF Boeing AH-64D Apache helicopters are uplifted in 2 Antonov AN-124 charter flights back to Singapore.  The 6 RSAF Aerospatiale / Eurocopter AS332M Super Puma helicopters should also depart back to their Oakey base.

Thanks to local plane spotters Kayanne H and 'IAD' for sending through these great photos!
