As predicted, the six Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin) F-16D Block 52 Version Fighting Falcon jets that have departed Rockhampton Airport for good on Monday 9 November.

The six F-16s - serials 666, 667, 670, 676, 677 and 680 - are all flown by the RSAF's 145th Squadron out of Changi Air Base in Singapore and been based at Rockhampton Airport, flying sorties to Shoalwater Bay as a part of the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby 2015.  They departed Rocky in turn for RAAF Base Tindal in the Northern Territory as "Singa 3512".

Local plane spotter Dan has sent through some great images captured over the weekend as the F-16s rested peacefully on the Northern military hardstand at Rockhampton Airport.

He also sends through a few final images captured last Thursday 5 November as the RSAF F-16s concluded their flying program out of Rockhampton Airport during Exercise Wallaby 2015.

Meanwhile, local plane spotters Kayanne H and Scott H shared these great videos they captured on Monday 9 November of the F-16s departing Rockhampton Airport.

Finally, at Darwin Airport in the Northern Territory on Monday 9 November, local plane spotter Sid M captured a few great photos of RSAF Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker aerial refuelling aircraft - serial '750' - as it returned to Darwin after being tasked to provide air-to-air refuelling for the F-16s on their journey to Tindal.

Sincere thanks to Dan, Kayanne, Scott and Sid for their assistance in me preparing this Blog post.
