And Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-YFV Also Calls into Gladstone Airport Sunday

The run of Virgin Australia jets visiting Gladstone Airport still continues, and on Sunday 6 November, Col captured some great photos as the larger Boeing B737-800 VH-YFV touched down on a scheduled service from and back to Brisbane as VOZ1713/1716.

Of interest, VH-YFV is the newest B737-800 in the Virgin fleet and it wears the name 'Princess Charlotte Bay'.

Virgin Australia Embraer E-190 jets continue to call into Gladstone Airport as well.  On Tuesday 1 December, Col also captured VH-ZPH as it visited the industrial city late in the afternoon as VOZ1717/1720.

Despite rumours continuing that the Virgin Australia jets will cease flying into Gladstone, it turned out to be a really busy week with almost every service operated by a jet rather than the smaller Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) ATR 72 turboprop.

Thanks again to Col for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
