It was due to operate the return VOZ1710 service but this was cancelled due to a maintenance issue.

VH-ZPC eventually positioned back to Brisbane empty as VOZ9910 a little later in the morning.

VH-ZPC re-entered service with Virgin Australia later in the evening on Tuesday 26 April operating as VOZ621 from Brisbane to Mackay Airport.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 26 April, down the road at Bundaberg Airport, Virgin ATR 72-600 VH-VPI touched down from Brisbane as VOZ1701.

It didn't depart on the return VOZ1702 service and instead remained grounded at Bundy overnight.

It appears that fellow Virgin ATR 72-500 VH-FVL was diverted to Bundy later on Tuesday 26 April while operating the VOZ1720 service from Gladstone Airport to Brisbane to pick up stranded passengers and ferry them onward to Brisbane.  It has earlier flown into Gladstone Airport on the VOZ1717 scheduled service from Brisbane.

VH-VPI positioned back to Brisbane empty early on Wednesday 27 April as VOZ9902.
