Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service Operating 'Spare' Bell 412 VH-LSY as Fellow Australian Helicopters Bell 412EP VH-PXY Operates to Shoalwater Bay

Noted arriving at Rockhampton Airport over the weekend from Mackay was the Australian Helicopters-operated 'spare' chopper - Bell 412 VH-LSY.  It looks to have commenced operations for the Rocky-based Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service (CHRS) as its 'usual' Bell 412EP VH-EPR (which is also operated by Australian Helicopters) undergoes maintenance.

Local plane spotter Trevor H captured a great photo as VH-LSY rested quietly out side the Cap Rescue hangar on Tuesday 17 May.

In the background of the photo is Australian Helicopters Bell 412EP VH-PXY which ferried into Rockhampton Airport in late April and also looked to undergo some maintenance.

I'm lead to believe that on Wednesday 18 May it flew from Rocky to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and back, twice, using the radio callsign of "Rescue 920", suggesting that it is being utilized as a med-evac platform during the military exercise which seems to be taking place in the Bay.
