A Couple of Bizjets Come and Go at Hamilton Island Airport

It's pretty much non-stop action at Hamilton Island Airport with a couple of locally-based bizjets - as well as a nice corporate turboprop - visiting during the last few days.

On Saturday 2 July Sunshine Air Services (of Victoria) Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-VLZ arrived from the Gold Coast. It seems to be still parked at Hamo.

Meanwhile, on Sunday 3 July Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-VSQ departed to Port Macquarie. It had arrived from there on Thursday 30 June.

Also on Sunday 3 July. Shortstop Jet Charter British Aerospace BAe-125-1000B bizjet VH-LMP departed Hamo for Melbourne (Essendon).  It arrived from there on Wednesday 29 June.

A nice corporate turboprop in the form of Alizzi Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-ZOS arrived at Hamilton Island Airport from Ballarat in Victoria on Sunday 3 July.

A couple of other smaller light General Aviation (GA) aircraft have also been noted calling into Hamilton Island Airport over the last couple of days including Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron VH-EZD which called in from Monto on Friday 1 July.

While on Sunday 3 July, The Laptop Man's Cessna 206 VH-SMT visited from Mackay and Grumman AA-5 Tiger VH-WPM arrived from Longreach.

Finally, at Mackay Airport, locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ returned home from Townsville on Sunday 3 July.  It had flown to Townsville on Friday 1 July.
