I almost forgot that it was parked there!

As we mentioned below, it was joined on Hamo during the week by Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO which touched down at Hamilton Island Airport on Tuesday 2 August from Bankstown.  It returned there on Wednesday 3 August.

Finally, over the latter part of this week and into Saturday 6 August, there appeared to be several Victorian-based light General Aviation (GA) aircraft and helicopters coming and going at Hamilton Island Airport reportedly on some sort of safari.

Some of the Victorian-based aircraft and helicopters heard heading into Hamo over the course of the week included Piper PA-32R-301 VH-JFS, Robinson R44 II VH-JHQ, Piper PA-32RT-300 VH-LRT, Cessna 172s VH-CNY and VH-BSV and Cessna 210 VH-MGD.

Finally, Townsville Airlines Beech B200 King Air VH-WZN paid Hamilton Island Airport a visit from and back to Cairns on Saturday 6 August.
