The Visiting Global 5000 Bizjet N2QE and G550 Bizjet B-8270 Depart Hamilton Island Airport - But More Are Due!

On Thursday 11 August, two of the three nice bizjets that arrived earlier in the week from Sydney departed in quick succession for the Gold Coast.

American-registered Bombardier BD-700-1A11 Global 5000 N2QE departed first and was again closely followed by Chinese-registered Star Jet (of Hong Kong) Gulfstream G-V-SP (G550) B-8270.

The other bizjet that arrived earlier in the week - Sundyne (Execujet Australia) Cessna 650 Citation VII VH-SSZ - appears to be still on Hamo.

Meanwhile, a sneaky visitor to Hamilton Island Airport very early on Wednesday 10 August was Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY which called in briefly from its Sunshine Coast base and later departed to Brisbane.

Finally, it appears that the bizjet action at Hamilton Island Airport will continue on Friday 12 August with both Marcplan Charter Gulfstream G-IV-X (G450) VH-MBP and Brenzil Dassault Falcon 7X VH-CRW both scheduled to pay Hamo a visit (subject to change!).
