A Nice Pair Cessna Citation Bizjets at Longreach Airport - VH-MOR and VH-PSU - And a Few Lighties too!

After a couple of nice bizjets visited over the weekend - see Blog Post below - on Wednesday 5 October, there were a nice pair of Cessna Citation bizjets to call into Longreach Airport.

Early in the morning, Brisbane-based Cessna 525A CitationJet2 VH-MOR called in from Mount Isa and Darwin.  It later departed to Archerfield.

VH-MOR had flown into Mount Isa on Tuesday 4 October.

Meanwhile. departing Longreach for Emerald and Mackay Airports Wednesday morning after arriving the previous day, was the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra VH-PSU.  It had flown in from Brisbane, Roma and Charleville on Tuesday 4 October.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 6 October, VH-PSU finished its trip 'around CQ' by flying from Mackay to Rockhampton and Gladstone Airports before it returned to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, a few interesting light General Aviation (GA) aircraft have also been noted calling into Longreach Airport over the last couple of days including Flight One (Services) Beech B200 King Air VH-FON which flew in from its Archerfield base and departed to Cloncurry on Tuesday 4 October.

Another King Air in the form of Brescon Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN touched down from Mount Isa and Elliott Airport in the Northern Territory also on Tuesday 4 October.  It later departed to the Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport near Toowoomba.

Finally, up the road at Barcaldine Airport, also on Tuesday 4 October, former CQ-based Piper PA-31 VH-DER visited from its new Toowoomba base.  It departed to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) before returning to Toowoomba.
