RAAF BBJ A36-002 Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport - Plus Challenger 604 A37-003 at Bundaberg and Maryborough Airports

Amongst all the movements associated with the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby at Rockhampton Airport, on Thursday 6 October, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DF(BBJ) A36-002 was photographed by local plane spotter Kayanne H as it overflew Rocky shortly before completing a missed approach on what looked to be a training flight.

The BBJ looked to fly up from the South and after it completed the missed approach, it flew back to the South where it looked to be heading to the Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport near Toowoomba.  A36-002 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Envoy 15".

Meanwhile, earlier on Thursday 6 October, fellow RAAF Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-003 was heard to be completing airwork around the Fraser Coast and possibly landed at either Bundaberg or Maryborough Airports, or both!  It was heard to be using the radio callsign "Regent 45".

Thanks Kayanne!
