Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-KXM Pops into Longreach Airport - Plus a Couple of Lighties!

Early on Sunday 2 July, Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-KXM arrived into Longreach Airport from Bankstown via Bathurst in New South Wales.  After taking on fuel, it continued North to Vanrook Station near Normanton.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 6 July, VH-KXM returned to Longreach Airport from Vanrook Station.  It later departed to Bathurst and Bankstown.

Also on Sunday 2 July, Burley Aircraft of Sydney Piper PA-42-1000 VH-BUR passed through Longreach Airport on what looked to be its return from flying in South-East Asia.  It touched down in the Central West from Darwin and departed to Bankstown as 'XFX1' / "AirCorp01". On Saturday 1 July, it flew Denpasar (Bali) to Darwin.

Meanwhile, at the time of writing, early on Monday 3 July, Brisbane-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-AAD is heading to Longreach Airport from Archerfield.  It is later due to depart to Canobie (Four Ways).

And General Aviation Maintenance (GAM) AeroCommander 500-S VH-UJR is also heading to Longreach from Barcaldine and Emerald Airports.  It only started the week-daily freight run this week after flying into Emerald Airport from Brisbane on Saturday 1 July.

It replaced fellow GAM AeroCommander VH-UJN which departed to Brisbane also on Saturday 1 July from Emerald Airport.

Finally, also at Emerald Airport, also on Sunday 2 July, SFC Farming Raytheon B200 King Air VH-TXT arrived from its Goondiwindi base and later departed to Cairns.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 6 July, VH-TXT returned to Goondiwindi from Cairns again via Emerald Airport.
