Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-004 Returns to Rockhampton Airport

As predicted, on Sunday 2 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-004 arrived back into Rockhampton Airport from Adelaide, flying again as "Dragon 30".

It taxied in and parked on Gate 6 on the Southern end of the Rockhampton Airport apron where personnel and their cargo were unloaded.  A39-004 was also refuelled and soon after it departed back to Adelaide yet again.

Information suggests that the KC-30A will transport yet more personnel to Rockhampton Airport in the coming days to participate in joint Military Exercise Talisman Saber 2017.

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Daniel B for again taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
