RAAF Challenger 604 Bizjets A37-001 & A37-003 at Rockhampton Airport This Week for Deputy PM Barnaby Joyce

A visit to North and Central Queensland by the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, Barnaby Joyce, brought a pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjets to Rockhampton Airport over consecutive days.

On Thursday 3 August, A37-001, flying as "Regent 77" flew into Rocky from Cairns, bringing Mr Joyce to town for a series of engagements.  It didn't stay long and was noted departing to Canberra a little while later.

Then on Friday 4 August, A37-001 returned to Rockhampton Airport from Canberra but as "Regent 38".  It later returned to Canberra.

While, A37-003, flying as "Wisdom 83" touched down at Rockhampton Airport also from Canberra on Friday 4 August to pick up Mr Joyce and fly him home to Tamworth.
